Tools
Materials
yarn to make pom-poms.
・Thread: cotton thread for Embroidery, in colour green (dark and light) and yellow.
・Glue
Please read all instructions and assemble your materials before beginning the embroidery.
Making
Make the Pom Poms
Take CLOVER Pom Pom Maker in 35mm.
Make one Pom Pom in colour Yellow.
Make one Pom Pom in colour White.
Be sure to use a scissor to snip away excess yarn and shape your Pom Pom.
Embroider the stem and leaves
Take the dark green thread and embroider the stems with the stem stitch.
When you are on the third stem, use satin stitch to embroider the head of the last stem.
Again with stem stitch, embroider the green X at the base of the bud.
With the same thread, in satin stitch, start embroidering the leaves while following the line in the middle of each leaf.
When reaching the top of the leaf, keep all the stitches concentrated on the center.
Then follow along the rest of the leaf changing the diagonal of the stitches.
Make the second leaf following the same instructions as the first.
Embroider the bud
Now take the yellow thread and with some stitches make the bud. Intentionally make the stitches one on top of the other.
Attaching the Pom Poms
Put a bit of glue to keep the Pom Pom hold still, then add a few satin stitches on the bottom of the yellow Pom Pom.
If needed, snip away some yarn around the Pom Pom to shape them as you like.
Optional: Detail on the leaves
Take the light green thread and add some small stitches on the bud, then highlight the line of the leaves with some stem stitch in the middle.
