Pinking scissors
Materials
• Cloth (chiffon or satin recommended)
*The piece in the photo is made using pieces of fabric measuring 55 x 15 cm.
• Large beads x20
• Thread
Making
Cut the edges of the cloth with pinking scissors.
Iron the gathering tape to the center of the fabric. Draw out the ends of the blue threads. Tie the threads at one end and pull them out at the other end to gather.
For more details, please refer to 1 to 3 of the user' s manual of the product.
To fix the gathers in place, use a sewing machine to sew over the centre of the gathers between the two blue threads, backstitching at the beginning and end to secure.
Sew what you have from step 3 onto the basket. Attach a combination of satin and chiffon to your liking and apply some of the large beads and it is COMPLETE.
